Pierre-Yves Tournaire and David Vuadens have each built a real estate portfolio in Geneva. Drawing on their respective experiences with various Geneva property agencies, they conceived the idea of creating Custodia. Faced with the complexity of the administrative, technical, and legal tasks that real estate agencies encounter, the need for supervision became evident.
Lieutenant Colonel in the Swiss Army, with a technical background, he comes from the construction sector. For over 20 years, his companies have worked with nearly all Geneva property management firms.
He founded Groupe de Rénovations Immobilières SA, which to date has overseen more than 10,000 projects in French-speaking Switzerland. He was among the first to tackle the issue of pollutants in buildings by creating Easy Amiante SA.
A lawyer by training, he comes from the property management sector and was the owner and president of Forum Immobilier SA, a major Geneva property agency for over 70 years.
He is also a real estate developer and has participated throughout his career in the construction of several dozen buildings.
